Alfa Romeo is one of the great sporting marques, with a history of building sporting cars and known as a manufacturer of "race cars for the road."

Begun as a licensee of Darracq, Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili or A.L.F.A eventually grew into one of Italy's two largest automobile manufacturers, behind only FIAT in volume.

The Alfa Romeo 105 Series was one of the 1960's hallmarks.
