[edit] History
The Alfa Romeo 105 series was the follow up to the highly successful Alfa Romeo 101 Series cars, and debuted in 1963 with the updated Giulia Sprint GT to replace the previous Sprint model. The new body was designed by a young Giugiaro, working at Bertone and while controversial at first, has become widely accepted as one of the great car designs of the 1960's. The first 105 cars arrived with the 1600 Giulia engine, evolved to the so-called 1750 (1779cc) engine in 1969, and progressed to the 2000 motor in 1972. The cars were also known as 115-series cars in North American markets beginning with the 2000s.

- Inline 4 Cylinder DOHC all-aluminum front-mount engine
