[edit] Executive Sedan
Alfa Romeo introduced the Berlina sedan in 1969 as the 1750 Berlina, based on the Giulia sedan and restyled by Bertone. The Berlina shared a roof, glass and doors with the Giulia but the wheel base was longer and the lines were noticeably altered. It was outfitted with the top of the line equipment and interior with bucket seats in the front and, sharing a dash assembly with the 1750 GTV. Mechanicals were shared with the rest of the line of 105 Series cars and included the 1779cc aluminum dual cam motor, 5-speed manual transmission, live rear axle, and 4 wheel disc brakes.
